What principles define how you live?
This morning, I started a lengthy post on my personal journey and spiritual and religious metamorphosis. The thing is, when it comes to this topic and where I was then and where I am now, it takes time to fill in all the holes and connect the thoughts into something coherent. And I got shit to do…
So, to make it easy…
I have a holistic, all-encompassing set of principles that define how I live my life:
- I believe in right and wrong.
- I believe that it is my duty to do right.
- I believe in accountability and honesty.
- I understand that my actions have consequences and I take responsibility for those actions.
- I accept that I alone control my happiness and the outcome of my life.
- I believe that all living things have souls, are interconnected, and are dependent on each other.
- I believe in leaving the world better place than I found it.
- It is my responsibility to help protect those who cannot protect themselves.
- I respect the distinct cycle of birth, living, death, and rebirth.
- I believe in balance.

I had a similar experience when I was trying to write out my list of principles earlier today. It was hard to try and pare everything down.
