Apparently, my steady intake of Wild Turkey, cheap White Sangria, pizza and movie theater popcorn (with extra butter, of course) this Fourth of July weekend was not a premium type of fuel.
I found that out this afternoon while attempting to get back into my fitness regimen. It hurt. Bad.
I’m hanging up my laundry list of excuses (it’s too hot, not enough water today, new shoes, etcetera) and just going to get back to it. Back to clean eating: more kale and less pizza. Fruit, other than what is floating around in my cocktail. A little more lemon water and less Wild Turkey.
