What are your favorite brands and why?
I’ve never been too concerned with brand names. If something fits, if it tastes good, if it works – I like it. I don’t particularly care if it’s “in” or popular. Celebrity endorsements hold zero clout with me. I’m not saying that I haven’t fallen prey to some nifty advertisements, but I rarely base my purchases off a brand name.
Plus, I’m thrifty, economical, frugal…. okay, fine. I’m a cheap ass. Let’s call it what it is. I have a really hard time spending money on something branded whose generic counterpart is just as good. Even before Macklemore so eloquently put it, fifty dollars for a t-shirt, that’s just some ignorant bitch shit.

same….in fact i pretty much avoid name brand anything. i dont like to be labeled or stereotyped, and people do make assumptions sometimes. For instance designer bags, tiffany jewelry, high end clothing labels. I pretty much refuse to wear them unless the tag is hidden and i get it at a salvation army. As far as food, i have to try it sometimes but over all, most stuff is over-rated, and i like making from scratch to my own tastes. The same applies to cars ( i have a used Honda), makeup ( some is literally $ store stuff, etc. I am pretty picky about my lip balm tho. I only use Burts Bees original – i just like the feel and minty-ness of it:)
