My response to today’s daily prompt is going to be extremely short and sweet:

I’ve tried listening to podcasts in the past, but I get severely annoyed by the tone, speed, and over animation of people’s voices. So much so that I miss out on the content, I am so distracted.

I listened to quite a few ‘Crime Junkie’ episodes while traveling for work several years ago. The topic interests me greatly but Brit’s voice was like nails on a chalkboard.

My brother suggested I listen to ‘S Town’ a while back. My sister, when we were still talking regularly, recommended ‘Limetown’. I listened to both, simply because they suggested them. Eh. They were okay. Audio entertainment, in the form of podcasts, isn’t my first choice.

I’d rather listen to music….
